Sad Joke on a Marae

In English we are learning Sad Joke on A Marae is made by Apirana Taylor.

Personally I think the Sad Joke on a Marae is a alright poem but the story  background is quite a story.

The background story is about how the guy didn't know much about his culture and only knew a little Maori.

Te Tiriti

We are learning about The Treaty Of Waitangi in our class.  In this picture the wave represents the treaty. All of the different people are have different meanings. I would probably be behind the hill because I can hear lots of noise about the treaty but I don't know anything about it.
